For those seeking a certificate of completion instead of CEs; Wholehearted does offer certificates of completion upon passing an exam. Our exams for professional courses meet and often exceed the difficulty of standard CE exams. Our exams for courses are intended for the general public or professionals that work in a supportive role (for example: first responders, teachers, spiritual leaders, community support, coaches, sponsors, etc…) the exams will seek to verify that you understand the concepts presented and the program was completed. Wholehearted Certificates of Completion DO NOT provide any certification or accreditation. Nor do the certificates indicate any qualification to work with people in a counseling or therapeutic capacity.
All practitioners and professionals are required and expected to operate within their scope of practice.
Wholehearted offers many courses and programs that are eligible for continuing education credit. The specific amount of credit, and eligibility for CEs, varies based on the credential you hold, the certifying or licensing body responsible for your credential, and other regulations.
Thus, some courses are eligible for CE credit for LMFTs and LCSWs, for example, but not for drug/alcohol counselors… or vice versa. And not all states that license LMFTs or drug/alcohol counselors recognize the certifying bodies that we work with.
The certifying bodies that approve Wholehearted/RecoveryBookstore do not provide CEs for all credentials, or for practitioners in all states. It is your responsibility to verify that the certifying bodies we work with will provide CEs that are applicable to your particular credential in your state or country.
Each course eligible for CE credits is listed below, along with the certifying body offering credits for it, and the number of credits offered by that certifying body.
The cost of each course is listed on the individual course page.
